Manila International Airport

The Manila City as the capital of the Philippines, has one international airport that functions as the workhorse for this metropolitan city. The Ninoy Aquino International Airport is in Pasay, it has 3 terminals where in you can go to the other terminals with either a cab or an airport shuttle, this airport is also used by the different airlines like Zest Airways, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines.

When you're on your flight make sure to capture the many scenic views from the air, including of the buildings and sights of the Manila City. This place is very colorful especially when the sun goes down, but the perfect time for your flight is when the sun is up so that you will have the opportunity to get a snap shot of Manila City.

Ninoy Aquino International Airport

Pasay and Paranaque city are two of the busiest cities in Manila because this is where the Manila airport is situated at. From the Metro Manila area, you can always hire a private car or take a taxi, you should expect your travel time to take least an hour getting to and from this well-known airport in the Philippines.

When traveling to other Philippine Islands you will use the Manila International Airport for your departure and arrival for most island destinations, however if you are going to El Nido Palawan you will need to take a different airport, located about 15 minutes away. The same is true if you are traveling to Boracay via Caticlan Airport you will need to use the old domestic airport, also 15 minutes away.

To guide you, here are some tips to help you have a trouble-free flight.

  1. Be at the airport 2 or 3 hours before the time of your flight (check-in processing).
  2. All important travel papers must be in a separate pouch on your hand-carry bag.
  3. Hand-carry luggage must only be a maximum of 7kgs.
  4. The total luggage weight to be checked-in is 15kgs, there is an additional cost if you go over this limit.
